When an earthquake reduces almost all of Seoul to smoking ruins, miraculously one building remains standing. Surrounded by destruction, the survivors try to restore order but as outsiders begin to seek refuge at Hwang Gung Apartments, the residents soon realise that the real disaster is yet to come.
