Mild-mannered care home worker Nicky works long hours, and between shifts lives an isolated life listening to classical music and watching snooker. When Dean moves in next door, he shatters her routines with late night parties and music booming through the thin connecting wall. Nicky decides her only option is to confront him - but it quickly becomes clear that violence is a very real possibility.

 

With no help from the authorities or her scared neighbours, Nicky discovers a new side to herself. Desperate for sleep, Nicky begins to take dangerous and increasingly erratic actions which escalate into a full blown war between the two next-door neighbours.
