Vue’s brand new Big Screen Entertainment venue is set to finally open its doors for the first time, in Glasgow’s popular St Enoch Centre, on Saturday 5th June. Glaswegian film fans will be able to enjoy the latest film entertainment this summer with titles such as, A Quiet Place Part II and Peter Rabbit 2.
The St Enoch venue is scheduled to open following the decision by The Scottish Government to move Glasgow to Level 2. The state-of-the-art cinema will create around forty new jobs as part of the St Enoch Centre’s £40 million investment in its Glasgow retail offering.Vue Glasgow St Enoch will feature nine screens, each equipped with Sony 4k digital projection and Dolby 7.1 surround sound. Three screens will be 3D. All seating, across every screen, will feature ‘The Recliner’ luxury leather seats - so guests can watch the latest in Big Screen Entertainment in comfort.
A relaxing bar and lounge space will make Vue Glasgow St Enoch a go-to destination, allowing guests to enjoy drinks with friends ahead of their visit to the big screen.
Vue has installed new ‘Snacks and Seat touch screens’ where guests can buy tickets and select and pay for their drinks and snacks using touchscreen technology.David Cameron, Head of Marketing at Vue, said: “We are hugely excited to finally welcome film fans in Glasgow to our new St Enoch venue after local restrictions caused us to delay initial plans for opening.

Film fans will be able to see everything from well-loved classics, to a selection of theatre and sport screenings, and an epic line-up of hotly anticipated new releases, from Wednesday, once Vue Glasgow St Enoch opens its doors.
Vue has three years’ worth of new releases coming to the big screen over the next 18 months. Entertainment fans can look forward to a spectacular array of Hollywood blockbusters such as: No Time to Die; Minions: The Rise of Gru; Fast & Furious 9 and Top Gun: Maverick.
